Gunda Ehmke

Gunda Ehmke works at the intersection of foreign policy and technology, strategically linking the two: as a geopolitical reality and as a diplomatic tool. As Head of the Data Innovation Lab, she has spent the past three years building an organization—largely unique in the world in this form—at the intersection of foreign policy, technology, and innovation. The Lab is a collaborative project between the Federal Foreign Office and GovTech Germany and serves as an extension of foreign policy innovation efforts. Gunda is also a fellow at Think Tank 30 - the German Society of the Club of Rome and a member of UNESCO’s AI Ethics Experts without Borders.
