Intern - Digitalization and the Common Good
Justin Burnett
Justin Burnett works as an intern on the “Digitalization and the Common Good” project within the “Digital Living Environments” division at the Bertelsmann Stiftung. There, he focuses on issues related to the governance of digital spaces and the societal impacts of social media. He is particularly interested in the cultural-political potential of games and gaming communities, the social and political significance of esports and professional sports, and political and social issues surrounding digitization and media.
Previously, he completed an internship at the Paderborn City Museum, where he collaborated with the University of Paderborn on the exhibition “Die, Ihr, Wir” (“They, You, We”), which addressed the topics of migration and integration. He earned a dual-major bachelor’s degree in history and media studies from the University of Paderborn.
